Wiper Fix...easy
Though I am not sure that it is a DIRECT association, I did a Google search for the "pule control module" for my '98 Jimmy. It took me to a message board that had many entries for the problem of wipers with a mind of their own. (Imagine that GM ?)
The problem seems to be that over time the solder joints where the connector is joined to the board itself becomes open.
Three torks, slide the harness off the connector, pull the board, locate the five (5) connector-joints and re-solder.
WORKS LIKE A CHARM NOW.
Repair for this at a Stealership is about $200.00
