H/C Questions
Well i still haven't found the vette of my dreams, So i decited to start looking for some mods. I'm intrested in a H/C package. I just wanted to get some opinions and some proven combo numbers so i can start the hunt. I don't mind a lumpy cam or am i intrested in passing emissions. So guys let me know what works well with the c5 so i can start to hunt for used parts(or good deals on new ones). I looking to spend around 5k and i'm looking for 450whp and the car will be a M6. The only thing i'm certain of is the kooks headers i want but the rest is up in the air. Thanks for the info Steve

Look at my sign, here's the results of my combo. 5k may be a bit shy not to mention the stock clutch will not be worth a crap so you can just about count on a clutch also. My setup is very streetable but I do have to mention, big cams don't like low RPM's...she bucks around 1300. The 4.10's help keep you in the power band. On the hwy at 60MPH I'm at about 1500RPM's, I get on average on the HWY 26MPG, city driving is a joke because you will not be able to keep your foot out of it so I have not idea what the true city driving would be and to be honest...who cares when your having so much fun. I'm considering the FAST 90/90 combo next which should net another 20HP so that would put me well over the 450HP
