What's a good replacement shock?
2000 Coupe with Z51 suspension, time to replace the stock shocks.
What's a good fit with the Z51 suspension? Not looking for a marked improvement (handling is fine) just a good replacement shock. Also should I swap out the plastic sway bar end links with metal ones?

Bilstein...has had a lot of good reviews...among FL gang...
Z51 suspension here too and I like the ride of StuzVette suspension however
but as long as you under your kwik lift...
...time for a swap to metal sway bar links...

Have a 2000 with the Z51 suspension myself. Recently replaced my shocks with the Bilstein Sport Shocks. I also replaced my plastic sway bar end links with the metals ones. I've heard that the plastic ones will break eventually.
I will admit that the ride is a bit stiffer though.
No complaints here.

Looks like it's unanimous. Bilstein Sports is exactly what I had in mind but wanted some input here first. Thanks for the info everyone!
