on the ZO6's fix-a-flat system do you squirt in the foam and air up the tire and move on with the nail/screw in place? Or do you need a jack, pliers, and plug kit also?
Typically, if the nail/screw is still in place, you aren't losing much air, and it's not a total-flat emergency. If you remove it, or it comes out on it's own, the tire will go flat within seconds, and the fix-a-flat should seal the hole and refill the tire enough to get you going. It is only a temporary measure to (hopefully) get you off the roadside..
Plugging or patching the tire properly should be the next step. An interior patch is the best method of permanent repair, but the tire will need to come off the wheel to do so.
If you have the means to plug it, then yes, remove the screw, plug it, air it up, and you should be ok.
