My car stops recognizing the keyfob. Last night I reprogrammed it and then this morning it didn't work anymore. It's not a daily driver so I figured that would be the reason. But not recognizing the fob after one night is ridiculous. Anyone know why I'm having to keep programming the fob in?
Oh, btw, that passive switch at the bottom is for approach right??
thanks in adv.
Time to open 'er up and clean/adjust the battery contact on the keyfob. (bend them slightly up to make better contact) You should replace the battery too.

If the contact have weak pressure, a slight bump of the fob causes them to lose contact, and therefore sync with the car.
I had the same problem with my fobs, new batteries didn't help so took it to the dealer. They replaced the reciever that is located in the rear above the driver side fender well. Problem solved luckily I have GMPP.....................
