Back in the 70's I remember a funky piece of music called Autobhan. I think I spelled it correctly. I ran for about 8-10 minutes and was about a silly little VW on the German superhighway. He'd get blown off by Porsches and other supercars as he motored along about 50. The music was synthetic and just rolled around in you head. Hardly any lyrics, but every once in a while in a very background form the lyrics, "on the Autobhan". Just enough music to keep you awake and enjoy your ride. I think I still have the tape somewhere. Some of you OLD guys might remember it. Although behind the wheel of my BB coupe, side pipes,(ear plugs in), no radio, no PS, no PB, no AC, on the open road, with the vibration coming up through your butt and back, now that's hard to beat !

I remember it. The group was called "kraftwerk" I believe. It was all done on a syntheiser, even the "vocal." Good stuff. I like Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf as cruising music...
