Default Sick Feeling............

Guess it had to happen sooner or later............. Went to lunch today in my coupe & while attempting to park in an empty lot next to the restaurant, I failed to notice a 3" drop off from the curb onto the asphalt in the lot. You guessed it............ dropped the driver's side onto the curb & punched a quarter sized hole in the underside along with a big scrape.

It's time to look into Rocker Rails and Frame Savers from A&A. I believe that the Rocker Rails would have prevented the damage from occurring.

I can feel for you. After buying my 98 used, I looked underneatth to find three holes in the drivers floor about quarter size. Also some scrapes along the fiberglass. I always wondered how that was done.

I don't know if the rocker-rails would have prevented it, but they are a
great mod. You get added protection plus you no longer need lift pucks!

Will this rocker panel be repairable or will it have to be replaced?

If just scraped/gouged it should be repairable with no problems.....

Ive had both sides repaired when local dealer messed up mine...

...they are very repairable...

btw...the rocker rails would have saved me the trouble of repairs...
...not to mention the loss of driving time

Been there and done that. It hurts, I know. I turned into a parking lot and took part of a granite curb with me . Ah ... 300 bucks and the pain stopped.

I got that same feeling yeserday walked out of the store and there it was some one backed into the right rear quater over the tire and cracked the glass and chiped the paint. I wanted to shed a tear but man did that hurt. when you try so hard to care for your car some gutless A/H hits and runs .well it looks like I;m just going to get it fixed its really a small crack but it look like is the whole fender to me you walk by and your eye goes right to it then I look down and say ****
