Default Dumb Question....
Say I trade in my 04 Vert and have a trade in value of 35K. And I buy a car that is 25K. Would the dealer cut me a check for 10K? Or is this not how the system works?

What is more likely to happen is that the dealer will tell you that your trade is worth $5k less and the new ride is worth $5k more, so no check, break even and have a nice day! : )
