Where can I take my 02, C5 to replace the rear shocks? What would be a fair price parts and labor? . I’m not much of a car guy and I don’t want to get screwed.
I live in Miramar Florida.
Thanks,

I am about to change out my shocks as well. I will be replacing all 4 at the same time, is there a reason that you aren't wanting to do this? What type of suspension do you have?

Left rear is sweaking like a ****, sepecially when I turn right. Car only has 40k miles so the rest are fine. I figured if I have to replace one might as well replace both rears.
djn-->got z51? open hood, look down near the pass side of steering rack, if there's a p/s cooler(about 10 inches long w/3 inch fins around tubing)then it's z51, if you just have a loop of metal tubing then it's non-z51(base fe1,f55,etc.) try posting in your locat section "need help installing shocks" you may find someone that could help you out, there's 2 bolts in the top and one big one thru the lower ctrl arm, the only hard part is compressing the shock to fit the into place(use floor jack) or 4x4 if on lift, capiche?

Thanks, a buddy of mine is looking at it right now...
Very easy to do The worst part is compressing the shock. Offer stands if your buddy can't help you.
He said the shocks look good. The left rear was squeaking badly but he hit it with some spray grease and the squeak went away. He said he could still change them but it’s not necessary, they have plenty of miles left in them. Sounds good to me...
