Default LS2 intake on LS1

I have a 99' C5 A4 that I am about to add cam and headers and maybe AFR heads, and was wondering if the LS2 intake & T.B. would adapt to it? I am looking for a more econimcal way than the FAST intake set-up. My motor is bone stock at the moment. So any comments on what is a good intake uprade would be greatly appreciated. And that includes everything you think I should have ( intake, T.B., MAF, CAI, etc. ) Thanks.

From what I have read the LS2 intake and TB will actually cost you HP.

I'd go with the LS6 intake

Yeah I just read somewhere else that the LS6 is a better intake than the LS2. Well it was a thought anyway.

ls6 for sure.Ask the supporting vendors about the weind or Fast. The regular LS1 intake after 2001 will also provide more power.
