Default Wheel question

I am searching for new wheels for my c5. I am curious about something. Searching through ebay, I see alot of corvette wheels, that say fit on Camaro/Firebird etc.. I am assuming that camaro/firebird wheels will fit on the c5? I know its the same bolt pattern, but as far as backspace etc, i have no friggin clue what to look for.

I searched a site for corvette wheels, but nothing came back. I then searched for camaro wheels and I got over 50 listings.

The set I am looking at are: 18x9.5 / 5x120 if that helps.

Not some, the offset is to small for the rotors and brakes, from what I understand. I could be wrong.

you can do a search on ebay for c5 wheels. It will return some. I just bought some chromies from the O.E. distributers. I think that corvette replicas will fit on camaro's and firebirds. I saw some C5 replicas on a trans am the other day. My wheels looked real good. But one of them looked like they might have been returned, it was a little dirty, and the bag with the center cap had already been torn open. When I went to have them mounted the guy said that that one was bent. I need to take it some where else to have a second oppinion. When I called the place that sold me the wheels they said it probably just looked bent when it was on the machine something to do with the barrel...I dont know. He continued to ask if the car was shaking, not really that I notice. So I dont know I need to get it checked out by someone else.

What I need to know is, what the min backspace I can have on the wheel, and the min offset can be. So I know if these wheels will fit.

Div,

Just follow my steps and get 18x10.5s for all 4 corners. Offset should be 54 or 58mm depending on width.

Front wheel 17" x 8.5 / 56mm
Rear wheel 18" x 9.5 / 65mm

I know that works, cause thats what mine are.
