Default Cascade Loop today

I have been wanting to test my recent mods (Z06 springs, Z06 swaybars, Bilstein Sport shocks, Dynatech headers and Momo shift ****). So after 3 hours work this morning I left and drove Hwy 2 over the Cascade Mountains to Wenatchee and up Hwy 97 to Winthrop and back over Hwy 20 also known as the North Cascade Hwy. This route is lots of twisties on two lane road over the mountains, a good test for the suspension.
The suspension was excellent, better than I had expected. I had the top off (lots of sunscreen on) so I could listen to my new headers. I did get used to the new shift **** (Combat Evo Carbon). I am very happy with these new mods, and beginning to plan my next mods.
I saw three other vettes today on my trip, two C5's and a C4, all waved! thumbs:

Sounds like it was fun. Glad the suspension parts performed to your expectations.

Thanks, I see you have ordered new wheels, do you have them yet? I remember last Dec. when we met in Olympia, you were considering an exhaust system, did you decide on one?

Yep. I decided on a GHL system.

Got the wheels on yesterday and ordered the rotors and ceramics today. Can't wait to see them all together.

Next up, the GHL's. Trying to do the cash thing has delayed getting them up to now.

Are you going to the XXX Vette show Sunday?

All depends on how hard it's raining. "not going to rain", "not going to rain". They can and have been wrong before.

Default another good route

South 5 to Vancouver, east on Wa State 17 along the north bank
of the Columbia then north through Satus Pass to Yakima,
Yakima to i-5 via White pass. Beautiful scenery, great roads
and many apex's to slice and dice

Washington is a beautiful State.... Grew up there and really miss it. I would love to drive those roads again.

Go a bit further sounth and take Hwy 12 east.
Simular to hwy 2 but less taveled. Puts you into the yakama valley.
Great drive too.

That would be hwy 14 east (not 17) to hwy 97 north.
Very scenic drive. My wife loves the drive along hwy 14.

I had FE1 base suspension, a little too soft for me. It was lowered with the bushings not cut.
