Vararam Installation
I made a promise to myself that I would buy a Vararam intake if I finished in the top third of my field training (ROTC version of OTS). Well, I did it! I got back Thursday from Ellsworth and now it's time to look at that intake.
How hard are those things to install? I installed a Vortex on my '99 FRC and it wasn't too bad. Are they comparable as far as difficulty?

Just installed the vararam the other day, and it took me exactly 3 hours. I do have a lift which made it easy to unscrew all the screws, but it wasnt that difficult at all. I hardly looked at the directions and got through it. It made a decent amount of power gain I believe since driving with it on.

Not at all - it's not even near it. It uses the non-functional (in the regular C5) front fascia air scoops the foglights reside in. The foglights still work as well. Here's a shot inside one of my Vararam tunnels.
