Just got back from Carlisle. The bra got wet and filthy. Whats the best way to clean it? Washing machine? Thanks, I'll post some pictures later.
I filled a 5 gal. bucket with warm water and McQuires NXT car wash and gently washed the bra and hung it on the fence to dry. Worked great and remember......always hand wash all your bras'.

Last time I used mine, I washed it right on the car before washing the rest of the car. The inside wasn't really dirty, just the outside. Having it on the car made it easy to scrub the bugs off.
Like the 5 gal. bucket tip when it gets realy dirty.
When I traveled the last time, I encountered some rainstorms and the felt covered edges got pretty dirty. Like the other guy, I used some car wash soap in a bucket. I then washed the black plastic outside then I wiped it down with some leather and vinyl cleaner. It has some sofeners in it that help to preserve the vinyl. I then hung the thing up in the garage and allowed it to dry before I folded it for storage.

I believe the instructions with the GM bra say NOT to use any vinyl conditioners, etc.
Oops.... seemed to work Ok though, of course I did not put it right back on the car. I know that stuff takes a long time to dry and I can see how it could spread to the paint if it was not dry. I did not use anything like Armor All though, this was the leather cleaner used for the interior leather and vinyl cleaner.
