I have installed now 2 Cags skip shift eliminator things.... Both worked for a few months but now the Check engine light comes on constantly (though the skip shift feature still works.)
Any Ideas?
Thanks!

I can't recall seeing another post where the CAGS eliminator caused any problems. Mine has now been on two different cars and no issues. If you are able to track down the source of your warning light, let us know what you find out.

I don't have one, but can you put an ohmmeter across the bypass to see if it is good or not. And can you get to the resistor to replace it, if necessary? Just a thought.
I'm reading that the bypasses quit working. Right? An open circuit giving the code? Back to stock = normal.

I'm guessing the resistor went bad for some reason... a few cents at Radio Shack should solve it.
