You'll find a lot of guys use them. Cuts down on the dust. If your using
stock rotors they're a good way to go!

I have them on my 98 Vette and my son has them on his 02 Vette. I think they stop great.

If you are not steaming into turn one at 140 mph and need maximum braking the ceramics work fine. I don't notice a difference from the stock GM pads except for practically no dust., Then again, I try not to use my brakes.

I have them on my 2000 roadster and it got rid of all brake squeaks. BTW i have drilled and slotted rotors on which the ceramics work just fine. Ceramic is MUCH better than semi-metallic for casual driving.

Got em and like em, I don't auto X or anything so that's not an issue for me. It's nice to clean the car, go for a drive and the wheels aren't black....

I've had mine for about 6 months and totally satisfied with them. Very little brake dust and I don't feel any difference in stopping distance.

I installed the GM ceramic pads at the same time I changed the rotors to dimpled/slotted. Overall they have significantly less dust than the stock pads and mine don't squeak (the stockers squeaked almost from day 1).

The initial bite of the ceramic pads is not as good as stock but overall they are fine. If you are not going to track the car, you will get used to it. I don't think I will switch back to stock! Hope this helps!

But I sold my ceramics because the difference in performance was too much for my tastes. Went with Z06 OEM and Carboteck XP9 for the track.

I have Baer semi metallics with Eradispeed slotted and drilled rotors. I REALLY hate the brake dust and the noise they make. Good stopping power though! Will go to ceramics soon!

You won't be disappointed if you want less dusting and no noise. You WILL be disappointed if you expect the same performance.

Default Carboteck 1521 pads

2011 G S my first vette got with 12000 miles. Brake dust and noise was too munch for me so at 21000 after reading a lot here I went with Carboteck pads. Talked to Adam and he helped me a lot. Don't track car but nice roads in Freedom hills of Al I have enjoyed them no noise very little dust good stopping from 80 mph on. Thanks

I had ceramic pads with drilled rotors when I bought my car and I hated them - I had a terrible brake pulsation problem that could not be cured. I replaced the rotors with EBC slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads; They made a vast improvement; much better braking, no pulsing and no serious dust problem; (there's a little dust on my fronts after several weeks, but it washes off easily when I wash the car). Maybe there was something wrong with the brakes when I got the car, but based on my experience, I will never again use drilled rotors or ceramic pads

I put them (GM Delco ceramic) on my C5 Coupe and they warped my stock rotors. I took them off early and went to HAWK HPS (semi-metallic), they stop MUCH better.

Through the vendor here I got Brakemotive Slotted discs and Ceramic Pads all around. The Rears for some reason dust a lot more than the fronts, but its a tan dust. Stopping power is great also. Very happy with them on my '04Z
