Just a silly pet peeve, but maybe somebody else has a fix. I can never see the display because of the reflection of light coming through the rear window or the roof. I always have to hold my hand in front of the display. Any solutions out there????????

Unless the light is going out, not much else you can do. There is no adjustment to the light intensity of the display during the day, only when you have the headlights on.
The bulbs that light up the display are LEDs, and the bulbs that supply the backlight are 12 volt. You can replace both with brighter bulbs, but it's not easy, and you can screw up the motherboards if you don't use a heat sink. I've learned to live with them. Polishing the plastic lens with acrylic polish helps a little.
