not painted..just got it on to test fit...if ya'll don't remember, im prolly going to paint it black... goes with the theme on the car..two tone..

install was not bad at all...i started actually pulling the wheels off to inspect the inner workings...ended up installing this... LOL...im wierd like that.

thanks for the comments guys! it really was not a lot of work. as far as paint, the reason i wanted black is so that it would be easily touch-up able..but i drove around tonight, and didn't scrap a thing! my car is lowered a lot as well...perhaps color matched might look better... it would really make the front end look lower.

also, i don't know why, but my coolant temps were a lot higher than normal. this is b/c i pulled off the stock spoiler in the middle...didn't think it would fit back on with the ACI, but i might need to re-check this. normally i run about 175* and tonight (75* out) i was at 195* ish...air is not gettin into the radiator despite the design of the spoiler. anyone have any insight on this???

and for those who have been asking...LOL
those are the C5R headlights. Specter Werks makes them...do a search for it on this forum...u'll find tons of "good" info. LOL..they were a b!tch to put in. i think it took me a total of 21hrs. but i had to do a lot of aiming and cutting to fit my HID kit in there...Specter Werks has the right idea with the kit, just the quality of the kit is horrendous! but i'll tell ya'll what, the outcome, lighting is as great as those german imports! i love it! never going back to stock!!!

Personally, I think it would look better body colored. I don't think it will stand out much if painted black. If I spent that much money on it, I'd want people to notice it.

That is the reason and you have to have that on. It is my understanding that it fits with the center spoiler on. This is where you get the majority of your air intake from.

 

Spoiler looks great and I love the lights!
