Warning with mods
When I installed the pulser my car would throw a code for traction control and Service traction control. When I removed the pulser all was fine with the car. I installed the pulser Exactly as instructed. I called WebElectric and explanied. I was told that this problem has happend on other vehicles not just mine. WebElectric offered to fix my pulser or send me a new one. I did not feel comfortable with installing another unit and possibly having any more problems or codes so I decided on a refund and WebElectric instructed me to send the unit back.
The pulser was sent back on August 16th and as of today it is nowhere to be found. Possibly lost in the mail thanks to the US post office, I am trying to locate it with the help of the post office. My problem is, if WebElectric knew that this pulser could throw codes a disclaimer should have been on the their website or maybe some quality control measures should have been done. Had I known a problem exists with the brake light pulser I would not have ordered one. I don't know if anyone else has had a problem with these brake light pulsers but this has been my experience. If the pulser is not located looks like I'm out $59.00. Just be careful before you spend your cash on certain mods.

As far as returning items you either insure the item or use UPS that provides a tracking number.
I always use UPS.Sorry to hear that it got lost but I bet it never happens to you again!

Good idea in regards to UPS....However, don't be too quick to think the Post Office "lost it"... I have an ex wife that had lots of stuff "lost" in the mail and magically, since she left, NOTHING has EVER been lost since... AMAZING!!!
You checked with the Post Office, give that a chance to work as far as finding out what happened...
Always make sure the address is labeled properly and that you call for a return number, etc. when returning an item to a company... It helps things go to the right place and returns are processed much more smoothly... Hang in there... It may be sitting on a shipping desk at the company you purchased it from... It's worth a couple more calls...Good luck!!

First, thank you for the support. Now, I have spoken with the post office and according to my tracking number the brake pulser was delivered to WebElectric with no problems. It is my opinion that WebElectric is going to sell the unit twice for twice the profit, oh well I can deal with that.
The bigger issue here is that Webelectric is selling some defective products that can be very dangerous. This brake pulser deactivates your traction control. The possibility for an accident, injury or death is now greater with this device installed in your vehicle. If your lucky you can catch it before crashing like I did. If I have to loose the purchase price I paid so that one less Corvette brother or sister doesn't have the problems I had it will be worth it.

I was hoping that I would not have to respond to these accusations, but it appears as though I have no choice. As I told you in a PM, I did not knowingly sell you, or anybody else, defective parts. I have sold hundreds of these pulsers, and only recently, and only on a few cars, has a problem shown up.
There were two or three people who said they were having problems. I asked them to send the module back so I can test them. I made some modifications, and sent them back to these people for verification. During this period, I did not sell any modules.
After they verified that the modification did, in fact, remove the issue, I made a design change and from that point on, all modules sold have the new design.
At this time, you told me that you were having a problem. I offered to send you a replacement, but you asked for a refund instead. I told you that would be fine, and I asked you to send it back to me. I never received it, no matter what you claim (how come you haven't sent me the tracking number so I can check it?). Even so, as of yesterday (before your message above) I had already refunded your account. If you had taken the time to look at it, you would not have accused me of trying to sell parts twice.
I am a reputable business man who sells quality parts and provides superior customer service. Any time someone has a problem with any part purchased from WebElectric Products, they only need to send it back and I will repair or replace it absolutely free. No matter how long they have had it, or even if they move it to another car. Who else has that kind of warranty? And on electrical parts, no less!
I'm sorry you had a problem. I offered two solutions, and instead you decided to make baseless accusations.
I apologize to the forum for using this thread to respond, but I feel that I have been unfairly accused, in public. I will not respond again, no matter what is said, nor by whom.
Sincerely,
Lawrence - WebElectric Products
