I need ask you guys a stupid question. I am thinking of getting a 2003 coupe with 17K miles on it. My questions this will be my main mode of transportation. Do you guys every get bored driving them.
My current car is a 2003 Maxima, and I am also getting a Vette (I'm past the point of considering it; it's happening). My car was pretty fun for about 2 years, and it's an auto with 255 HP, front wheel-drive, 4 doors, etc. I modded it to my liking, but after 2 years it lost its novelty. I am sure that a 2 door car with 350+ HP will be more fun to drive for a longer period of time, especially being a Vette.

Not yet and its been a year. I did turn it into a garage queen though as of late. I was sick of the traffic jams, road debrie & fellow idiot drivers coming way to close to my car for comfort. I ended up getting another car for daily driving after 6 months of ownership. Now that F'n gas is BS high I don,t mind using the mazda everyday. But when I take out the C5 occasionally Its almost like the first time again. You will love the car.

I have an 03 Coupe A4 with both roofs with 11,600 miles. How much do you think you want it. I am considering to give it away between $33-34,000.

How could you get tired of driving an American icon that does 175 mph off the show room floor, sticks like glue in corners and gets 30 mpg on the highway. Nuff said.
I picked up my vette on August 3rd.. first I've had. I have to tell you, this is a GREAT car. I had my last car for 15 years, and I'm still shaking my head on why I didn't upgrade earlier!

Quite the opposite. My '02 is not my daily driver. So I look forward to those days that I do drive it to work, or the weekends when I can get out for a run or use the car for errands.
Mine is my daily driver, but what really pains me is when I get home from work and we need to go somewhere with the family, which seems to be every day, we have to take the wife's vehicle and my poor car has to stay home all alone, when I'd rather be out driving it. Saves on the miles, but miss driving the rocket ship.
Get Bored? Chris, absolutely, positively no effing way. Just get a C5 and you will see. Let us know what you finally decide, good buddy. We are behind you all the way to have you finally see what its like to truly experience the well known and famous Corvette "permagrin".

My daily driver is an '01 F-150 (work at a hospital, don't want to park the 'Vette in the parking garage). But everytime I drive the 'Vette it's like the first time (and not that slopply fumbling around in the dark first time some of you might be thinking of...)
