If you were changing gears and already had exhaust,headers,vararam would you add a TC?

Are you going to race? Straight line - Yes, Road coarse - Maybe - ask some of the other guys that race. Street - maybe. Are you all out on the street? Are you just a weekend cruiser like me? I would just do the gear swap only for my vette - but that’s me. It is more cost effective if you do both at the same time. So some searches on CF and you will find other similar treads! Good luck.
PS: If you wife/significant other drivers your occasionally like mine does she my not like the radical change.

Yes, I will. Cost effective when doing gears but it depends on your expectations/performance needs. Plenty of knowledge here to help you decide.

Heck, I have not done gears yet. But when the tranny had to come out. A new TC went in. 2600 stall with 2:73 rear. Car just jumps off the line now.Lots more factor.
