ANYTHING over the stock shifter! I have the Hurst (and love it!), but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the name brand aftermarket ones. Find you a good deal and JUST DO IT!!!

Was thinking about upgrading from the stock shifter on my Zo6 myself, is it allot of work?

Really easy install. You'll need some torx tools, a pair of small screwdrivers to remove the demon key, and a beer or two to finish the job.

There should be instructions on how to install it in the tech tips section.

Hurst here. I love it! Once I got the stock **** off, which took a considerable amount of time and effort, the rest took less than an hour.

I have the Hurst in my '99 coupe, but any aftermarket shifter is better than the stocker. Very positive gates, and the throws are considerably shorter.(Hurst says 35% shorter). It's one of the best mods you could do IMHO. Easy install; use lots of WD-40 on the "demon" key to loosen it up!

I also have the Hurst. The hardest part of the install is getting off the stock ****. The Hurst allows you to adjust the shifting stiffness, I don't know if the B&M does. Order it from Jegs.com, they have the cheapest price- $169 and no shipping, just a small handling fee.
