I was wondering if anyone had guidence/experience replacing a "sunshade" visor on a convertable. It looks simple enough, but I would hate to jack it up. That has been my luck lately.
Thanks

It's easy. All you have to do is put a screwdriver blade in the slot in the plastic where the visor mounts to the header. With the blade in the slot, swing the visor toward the side window, which will cause the plastic base to turn. The visor will drop into your hand.
Check out this link. Has pics, but like others mentioned, it's pretty easy. I got my replacement from the dealer, before I knew about gmpartsdirect.com. You might want to check them out first.
Thanks fellas!!
I got my visor at the dealership here in vegas. I suppose it would be about the same where ever you go. Mine was $86, A LOT cheaper that I thought it would be.
I wish it were really that simple, my theory is some of the visor mounts are incorrectly assembled at the factory and the only way to get them out is to break them. I say this as I made a Homelink visor for my 99 and I destroyed the inner bezel which is only available on a new visor. Now that I have correctly assembled the new visor it goes in and out very easily, but there was no way the old one would come out with destroying the bezels. As always YMMV. Jeff
