Default A small idea for your center console...

This is a very small idea, but works great. Get a rectangular altoids can and remove the lid. The bottom half of the tin fits snugly in the front of the center console storage area. There are some ribs on either side which fit the tin perfectly - it doesn't move or vibrate back and forth at all. In my car the tin doesn't move back either, but if it did this could always be resolved with a little double-sided poster tape.

Anyway, the altoids tin makes a great place for storing coins or whatever you want in there. If you use the auxillary power slot for your cell phone charger the tin doesn't interfere either.

I find that console storage space is at such a premium that it helps to be better organized.

Like I said, a very small idea...

Good Idea.. now, all you have to do is put a $.50 C5 sticker on it, call it a "C5 center console organizer" and you could charge $100 for it!!

Cool idea. Thanks!

As an aside, this gives me an excuse to buy another tin of their tangerine-flavored drops. Those damn things are addicting!

Nice idea but don't the coins make alot of rattling noises? I put mine in the cup holder since that's about all it's good for.

I did the same thing except I left the top on and I keep my Altoids in
there. The top keeps the Altoids fresh.
