When installing, does the sticky part go down or against the front of the clip? I had to remove mine to put on a nose clip cover and can't remember which way it goes. There's a sure sign of getting old..Thanks for any help you can give me, I need alot.

Most put the 'sticky' side down, however others have it facing the front.
I have only used the 'down' position, so cannot comment on the alterantice.

Don't know if it was correct or not but installed the sticky part to the vertical edge on mine. It's been on for quite some time now without any problems.

I put my first one on with the sticky side down and it didn't stay stuck in the center. So, when I bought the higher horse power model, I stuck it to the verticle edge and it's staying on just fine.
Hmm. I was thinking of sticking the seal to the edge of the hood so that it closes down onto the place where most put the seal, instead of the other way around. Anyone done it that way? Seems like it would be nearly invisible that way, even with the hood up...
The little instruction sheet that came with my hood seal said to stick it on the vertical lip of the nose, which I did. It seals completely when the hood drops down and slightly forward against the rubber. Works for me!!
