[Z06] quesiton about pulleys

Default quesiton about pulleys

im goin down to nc next weekend to put on my vararam, thermostat, b&m shifter, and asp under drive pulleys with my buddy. he says that i may need to replace my crank bol after we put on the underdrive pulleys. anybody out there have any thoughts? thanks.

You might as well pin the crank while you are in there if you ever go FI and you will deffinetly want to do a new bolt with max strength locktite. Then get the biggest badest impact gun you can find and hit it hard. for added measure, i used a breaker b ar and went alittle more just to be safe.

Be smart and pin the crank so you don't have to pull the rack again.

Yes you will need to replace the crank bolt if you remove it. You definately should not reuse it.
