Default LS7 Clutches Available!

Hi All,

The LS7 clutch is available. It has been confirmed to fit in any LS1/LS6/LS2 Corvette combo. This comes without the flywheel which is an added bonus for those of you who purchase a different type flywheel or for those of you who don't need one. It is 317.99 shipped!

Hi All,
Just as an FYI... we are set to receive several more clutch and flywheel kits by the end of the week.

Does Chevy have a lightweight flywheel available too? Like they did for the L88's.

This is great, I have heard of people with bone stock Z06's running into the 11's and having the clutch slipping..
I also plan to add a few bolt ons if I get a C5 Z06 and maybe a small shot so this clutch should be great for it...

That's really cool.
I wonder what other LS7 drivetrain components I can install when mine wear out!

I can attest to the clutch slippage. My 04 Z is stock (18k on the clock) and running to redline and shifting causes some slippage lately. (and no I don't take it to the strip or even dump the clutch)

Default Clutch

It was my understanding that the LS7 clutch needed the ls2 flywheel and the LS7 pressure plate - have been following this at ls1tech.com (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...8&page=6&pp=20). Anyhow, would appreciate a definitive word. How much to install the clutch?
