Default Corvette Palace...NEED HELP

UPDATE, NEED SOME GUYS TO CHECK OUT THE FOLLOWING VETTES.

Well, my buddy is ready for some reviews on a couple of vettes, so if you could, he is looking at:

http://www.corvettepalace.com/invent...ckNumber=17474

http://www.corvettepalace.com/invent...ckNumber=18969

He is really nervous about doing this over the internet, but with the right review of the car, he is really open for purchase. Please check the following, DIFF leakage, scratches, curb rash on the wheels, CLB recall, over all condition, and anything you may find. Getting VIN would be great too.

Thanks a bunch,

Micah

Any of you close to the Corvette Palace in Texas? I have a buddy how is really serious about buying a vette and was looking at buying a vette form them and having it shipped out here to Hawaii, but there is that issue of not physically seeing the car before receiving it, so if anyone is ever willing to just drive down to the CORVETTE PALACE and look over the car for issues, like scratchs, panel damage, leaking diffs, interior flaws etc. drop me a PM. Thanks.

Micah

I bought my vette from them. Shannon and her husband run the operation and I was VERY impressed with their professionism and their cars! They do sell all over the US and many times to individuals who have not seen the cars. They also go all over the US to purchase low mileage, great vettes All of their cars in their showroom appear "very clean". On their website they post comments from individuals (www.covettepalace.com). They may even give you names of individuals to contact. You should also check the Austin Better Business for complaints. As I get to Austin several times a month, or since the Longhorn Club is there, maybe someone could take a look at the car prior to purchase? I did see my vette prior to purchase but I would not hesitate to buy from them without seeing it. All they do is sell used vettes and I believe their reputation is very important to them. Just my thoughts. You're the one spending the money and you have to be comfortable with your decision. Good luck.

Purchased my car from Corvette Palace. I worked closely and entierly by email and phone with Shannon and she was great to deal with. Never saw the car in person but had tons of pictures. She answered every question I had and did it in a timely manner. I was familiar with how they did things from comments from other forum members who had bought their cars there and became more comfortable with considering my purchase after I talke to her over the phone.
Cars are high end, low mileage and very very good. The pricing is a little higher and firm as they do not negotiate more than about $1,000 off the price. I told Shannon what I was looking for and she delivered. There was an 03 and 04 of the exact same specs and miles that I was considering. We spoke several times and she suggested the 04 based on my exacting demands and the one she felt I would be most please with. The car was represented as a 10 and believe me it was. The car looked absolutey brand new. She shared in the shipping cost and delivered to my door in an enclosed transport. I was very happy with my experience and would consider another car from them.

I live in Round Rock which is about 20 minutes from Corvette Palace. If you would like me to go look at the car(s) you are interested in, let me know. There's not much I like better than looking at 'vettes. I will also send you a PM.

Micah, I'm sure you will get a lot of "I'd be happy to look at the car for you" responses from us Austinites . And, yes, if TXZ06CE or yllwvet can't get there, I'd be happy to check one out as well.

But, believe me, as a few others have responded, they carry only low mileage excellent cars, and you can feel comfortable buying one of their cars sight unseen.

They are a bit too pricey for my budget, so I ended up buying mine from Corvette Country (a few miles from them).

Good Luck

I too bought my Vette, sight unseen (except for pics) from Corvette Palace. I had some real concerns about buying a car "on the internet", but multiple email and telephone conversations with Shannon calmed my fears. They handled everything (including financing) professionally, and my car was delivered in perfect condition just as promised. Highly recommended.

Good luck!
