So, your saying they piece in the covers to get the right length
That doesn't sound like it would look to good..........
btw, thanks for the link
Not sure what you mean by "piece in the covers"
The covers are simply a tube. The trunk strut is shorter than the hood strut. So get a set of the hood strut covers, cut them to the correct length, slip them on the trunk struts, and viola. Chrome trunk strut covers.

Ahh, when I looked at the window struts, without measuring,I would have bet money they were LONGER.......Now,I have to go check (that's what I meant by peicing them...btw)
Thanks for setting me straight!
Sorry for the confusion....I should have noticed your avatar a little sooner. My replies previous were directed to Wildcat99's original question, and he has a 'vert.

No problem....you are always quick to help with advice, and your forum brothers love that about you!!!
Meanwhile, back to the original question(sorta),but for coupes also( we hate being left out you know)
Someone must make these for other cars or trucks that would work....dontcha think??....dontcha?
Other people have used the hood strut covers, and cut them to length to fit the trunk struts.
You had better be prepared to wait for them. I ordered mine on Feb. 24th and received them the end of July. Ecklers changed the delivery date five times during that period. I had given up hope when they miraculously arrived one day without notice. They are beautiful and worth the wait.
