the entire actuator & its assy (one entire unit), must be replaced...
There is a bolt at the bottom that mushrooms out.
There is a new design as a replacement with a washer so it won't happen again.
Took my dealer tech about 1 hr to do it yesterday..
Without the repair, your window will rattle & shake in the down position, but will still go up & down no problem.
Until you get it fixed, don't lower the glass 100% all the way down.

Is there a TSB on this issue? I have an aftermarket bumper to bumper on my car and would like to have the info handy!!
A couple weeks ago, my passenger window was stuck. After shutting the door a few times, it started working again (tip from the forum). Now the window is starting to rattle at around 45 mph. When I get above 70, there is excessive wind noise. I wonder how much this will cost to repair at the stealership!
