I installed the european lights on my car the european way, and also removed the reverse lights from the license plate holder by installing the european plate holder.
Here is my problem, the hazard lights work fine, but the turn signals work fast. Has anyone run into this problem ?
I think because I only have one turn signal on each side instead of two the resistance on the line is smaller and it makes it run faster.
I was thinking about installing a resistor in place of the extra bulbs to increase the resistance and slow down the other lights.
What do you guys think ? Anyone had this problem ?

I had the problem when I installed Euros with the sequential tail lights. The vendor I bought from WebElectonics (Forum Vendor - Great guy to work with) was able to take my tweak my hazard and fix the issues. That meant I had to take the dash apart to get the the switch. I would contact one of the guys on here who have do a lot of LED modding. I bet they could help you with the option of using resistors. Try PM'ing CULOOKIN -
Got this tip from GB Vette, as your situation is very similar to those people using the Tiger shark rear fascia...
The stock reverse light sockets will fit the turn signal opening in the taillight housing with slight modification, you'll just have to extend the wires a little..
Then with the (no longer used) turn signal socket, leave it hooked up as normal, just paint the light bulb black, and fasten it out of harms way to the taiilight harness. This way, the bulb is still there (just not visible behind the fascia), and will keep your flasher functioning normally.

Ok, so now you have cool taillights for others to see ....Now finish the job and get the European headlights, T-84 with H4 halogens, and have cool headlights so YOU can see!
euro's are , i'm the only one in CT to have them carmine red w/ the amber euro's; if anyone needs a hand installing these w/ the harness let me know, simple mod for a unique look
Now I have to worry about taking out the flasher and changing a few wires. HYPERFLASH is killing me.

I have them on my 99 cpe and love them. West Coast Corvettes installed my amber versions, along with a few other goodies before shipping it back to me in Virginia Beach, I have yet to see another vette in my area with them......
Does the vette (and other modern cars) have a plug-in flasher module? If so, you would replace it with a heavy duty flasher made to make up for the reduced resistance of plugging trailer lights in parallel with the car's taillights. It slows the flashers down without adverse effect when the trailer is not hooked up.
