20 inch wheel's guys please step inside
I was wondering if a 295/35/20 tire will fit on the rear of my 2001 z06?
I noticed that most run a 25 series, but I would like a thicker sidewall.
I have a local friend with a set of 295/35/20's for a good price...
Will these fit my car without any serious rubbing issues?
Your advice would be appreciated.

I can't find anyone who manufactures that size tire, but realize it will be over 28" tall. My 4x4 Jeep came with shorter tires than that. 
There's a few people who have stuffed tires about that tall on a C5, so as far as I know, they'd work. Now will it look good?
The whole point of bigger wheels is to lessen the ugly sidewall.

Thank you for the advice....
I was thinking about doing the new 20 inch C6R in chrome with these tires.
But I guess since they will not look right...that rules that out.
