Default Need quick help on embroidered hood pad

Someone posted a link about a place in Marietta Georgia that embroidered the C5 logo on the hood pad, but I can't find it. Anyone remember what it was?

They even have the Corvette tax in full application! I'll still probably buy one.

Don't buy the entire hoodliner - go for the kit. You'll save about $100, because all you're going to do is install the blanket over your existing hoodliner, and you don't need a brand new one for that.

Easy install - took about 45 minutes to do the whole thing.

Got any pix of that? Does it cover the entire original hoodliner or just the area where the emblem is? How does it install? Glue?

Sure do! Here ya' go.....

The kit is the exact same thing they sell as the completed liner, difference is that you provide the hoodliner and the labor to install. They provide the glue, new grommets and detailed instructions. You simply remove the liner, layout the blanket in the right spot, and then spray the adhesive to make it adhere to the liner. Then you flip it over and trim the excess around the edges, leaving about 2" all the way around. You then wrap the 2" over the back, glue it, and your almost done. Use a soldering iron to make the holes for the gromments and reinstall. The results look exactly the same as the whole hoodliner.

If your existing hoodliner is dirty or frayed - it doesn't matter because you're gonna cover it up anyway.
