Don't waste your money, get them ceramic coated. Powder coating will not stay on. I have had headers powder coated atleast 4 times and they never last. I get stuff powder coated all the time and the guy does great work, he now no longer coats headers. Powder suppliers always come out with some new powder that will last but they never do. They do have a high temp powder but it will not stay on headers.

Try Pauls Powdercoating http://paulspowdercoating.com/index.php?pr=Contact_Info. He did my LG headers. You will want the ceramic coating its very durable and looks good. Very good guy to deal with. He had my headers dome in one day.

Powder coating wont withstand the heat of the headers. Ceramic coating is the only thing that will last.

Another vote for ceramic coating. Jet Hot is a well known provider for this service. There are others, too. Good Luck .

Had my headers done by Jet Hot and they look almost like chrome. I figure if their good enough for John Force their good enough for me.

I had my headers for my V8 s10 done and they were $150 from Sanderson, the people that made the headers. These are shorties, but I think full length were around $50-$75 more. Thats Sanderson prices not jet hot.

I got a quote the other week for my LT headers only from Jet Hot, and it was around $275, and that was including shipping back, but you have to pay to ship there.

Ceramic coating is by far a good mod *** well. It keeps heat out of the engine bay and if you do the rest of the exhaust, it will help keep heat out of your car as well. I hear from many modders that and mechanics that it helps scavange better as well. Not sure how, i think cause the ceramic is a smoother coating and what not. I am goin to get my whole exhaust ceramic coated this winter. I got a quote of $285 for full length headers and $17/ft after that. Good Luck with your decision

Maybe someone could contact Jet Hot and get some type of group purchase or something... I know that CamaroZ28.com members get a 10% discount, but Jet Hot is a sponsor of that site. Jet hot also makes their own line of f-body header, which is very popular. If there was a demand for it, I'm sure they would produce one for the C5!
