Default leather steering wheel cover?

Who makes the best leather steering wheel cover? (just for the grips, around the wheel, not the center).

Just looking for a nice, plain black leather, no two tone, that looks like it was made for the car...

If you're talking about a cover that goes over the existing steering wheel - can't help you. If you want the nicest leather steering wheel that looks like it belongs - call Vette Essentials. I know Ken could make you an all black wheel without any contrasting color.

The difference in the leather from the O.E.M. wheel to the V.E. wheel is astounding!

I am very happy with the fit and trim of the Wheelskins leather cover that came on my '02 Z06. It's red and black and is tight and excellent quality.

The best out there is definately Vette Essentials.

The only cover I have seen is from Wheelskins. I have the Vette Essentials product in mine and it is excellent.

Ive seen the wheel skins cover.... compared to vette essentials, wheel skins is a 2 and vette essentials is a 10.

I cant afford the Vette Essentials one, and I don't think the wheels skins cover even comes close , so Ill stick with the stock wheel. I don't think wheels skins would add anything to my car...its a cheap imitation of a real wheel cover.. I think the leather is fine, its the install, that looks so bad...compared to VE wheel.
I know I am being brutally honest here, and mean no disrespect to those who have a wheel skins cover... it's just my honest opinion...

IMHO the covers installed look is crap...cheapens the look of the interior - go large VE$$ or stay stock

Another vote for Vette Essentials. Ken is very helpful, and, his leather products are very tasteful and form fitting. Give Ken a call.

EVIL>>>>>> You nailed it again. Too bad wheelskins can't come up with a good configuration on the pattern around the bottom spokes. Truly, the devil's in the details......

I have a few VE pieces and they are the class of my interior. Like most I just wish I could afford all the VE pieces and be done with it.
