I'm currently torn between Corsa and Magnaflow. Is there a consensus on what's the best for C5's or does it differ significantly from one guy to the next? Thanks.
I don't have either but I do have Borla's. When I had mine installed by Midas, the tech was telling that there was another Corvette that had a muffler replaced, and the other Vette already had Magnaflows and the guy replaced them with Borlas. There are alos other manufacutrers such as GHL's and BB's, so you might to consider them as well.
Thanks for the info. I have looked at Borla Stingers, GHL, and B&B. I listened to each on the net and thought Corsa and Magna sounded the best. I asked my local muffler shop and they said go Magnaflow. I'm also a little price conscientous however will spend as much as I need to. Thanks again.
You will find many opinions. What you may like somebody may not. It is really a matter of personal preference. I chose GHL quad bullets because of their polished stainless steel hand crafted quality, and lack of drone, or as some say resonance. LAPD used to carry them and really talked them up, but they no longer sell them for some reason. You can still buy them direct from GHL, but they are on the expensive side.

Standard reply to this question will be:
Whatever is installed on my car is the best.
It's a subjective question. What's "best" for one guy/gal may not be "best" for the next. Go to a local event/gathering and listen to different exhaust systems to get a feel for what you might like. Don't buy what someone else likes. It's your car.
There is no best, it just depends on what you are looking for. The Corsas are know for no drone when driving and coming alive under throttle. Other people want a deep idle sound and old school sound.
Sorry, always wanted to use that one. Jaxgator is correct in what he stated. It's also hard to go by sound clips on the internet. I love what I have on my car, but most love what they have on theirs. Good luck with your decision.

See if you can find a bunch of Vettes together and see if someone who has a Corsa system installed and a Magnaflow system installed will take you for a ride. My buddy has Magnaflows and did before his S/C. His system was pretty mellow and had a nice rumble when you get on it.
I have a Corsa Indy Pace Car system, and it's exactly as StephenT said, no resonance or drone at cruising speed and really bark at WOT!
This is such a subjective issue - what one person likes might be totally contrary to what someone else hears and likes.
I have been very content/satisfied with my Magnaflow system (of course they got better sounding after my LG's were installed), but if you do go with Mag, get the "X" pipe as well because without it there is a drone at around 1600rpm cruising, the "X" pipe eliminated it completely. If you are going to do headers in the near future and your choice of header comes with it's own crossover pipe, then save the $ and put it towards the headers.
I have B & B bullets with quad tips. Superior quality and fit and loud as hell when you get on it. If you want quiet, these are not for you. I wanted that "race car" sound, and performance, and boy, I got it. I have a Dynamaxx system in front of it, (long tubes, high flow cats, and X pipe).
