Default C5R Lights with Breathless Covers

Has anyone seen this? Some guy in Japan combined what looks like a set of C5R lights with Breathless covers. Looks pretty slick IMO!

I would install these lights on my C5 in a New York minute! After selling my C4 which we all know C4s had head light problems I bought a C5 thinking, finally, no more head light pop up issues because I'm sure that the covette engineers fixed this problem....NOT! The first problem I had with my 2000 was a headlight not coming up!

I dig the look of these non-pop-up headlights!! Pricey though!

Like the look from the outside of the car but IMHO the install sure looked with all of that perf strap under the hood. Might be good if they could clean up the hard ware. What about heat problems with the HID that close to the clear covers. Clearance looks minimal.??

Those definitely are not the Specter Werkes lights. The inboard light is almost twice the size of the outboard light on the ones pictured. The Specter Werkes lights are either the exact same size or REALLY dang close to it.

So....this must mean that there is another alternative out there...somewhere

they look pretty good from here. it's the one thing about the c6 that i think is interesting: no headlight motors or gears to get hosed up. bub

Looks like he took off the projectors off a NSX.

To be honest, this is the EXACT thing I'm looking for. I didn't like the way the speckter ligts had a boxy lenses and the way the C5Rs bluge out like frog eyes...lol! It'll eventually either come here or someone will eventually make it.

Those lights are made by a complany called REAL and I am meeting with the owner this month here in Hawaii to potentially become the US dealer for their stuff. They make various body components as well as coil-overs. Very, very high quality stuff. The lights are much like the C5R's only much better made. The mounts are all cast into the integrated design. The projectors are 610X's from PIAA. The whole set-up would run near $2k in US dollars.

I just stumbled upon this link on google and thought they were a one-off that someone made. But if a company actually produces these and we can purchase them in the States that would be awesome! Would this set-up include HID's?

The set-up includes only the busckets and the lenses. The projectors need to be purchased seperately and the recommended projectors from REAL are currently not available.

The assemblies without the projectors is about $900 or so, and the projectors will kick it up to about $2k with HID. I will see what kind of pricing I can work out. If we can get them with HID for less than $1700 I will bring it in.

Those don't look like the same lights as the ones on the japanese car above. He show the production process, and they are a one off.

You're correct, I shoulda checked the link first. I saw the initial paint scheme and it matched the REAL versions, so I figured I'd give the 411.
