It is a Steering Sensor error.

C1281 Steering Sensor Uncorrelated Malfunction. The H indicates that it is a history code ( it happened in the past and it is not currently causing a problem) Probably needs to be looked at. I'm hopeful someone with more detail can post in and point you to a fix.

C1281, C1283, or C1286 VSES Sensors Uncorrected

VSES = Vehicle Stability Enhancement System

Could be Yaw Rate sensor...... I've seen this one before

All a part of Active Handling
VSES sensors work by recognizing wheel skid. When you skid, sensors monitor the difference between the steering wheel angle and the direction a driver is actually turning, the vehicle speed, and other factors. After analyzing what's taking place, the system automatically reduces engine torque and applies pressure to the front right or left brakes to help keep the vehicle along its intended path.
