I'm new to the forum, long time Corvette addict.
Just took off the run flats on my 04 convertible and put Michlien Pilot PS2's on. Big differance in ride, noise and handles great.

I'd love to see pics of the PS2s on your wheels. I'm planning on getting these once the runcraps run out.

From what I hear, they're supposed to be THE best all around tire on the market now. You should notice an especially significant difference going from the stockers to these tires.

Congrats on the change, going to a good non-runflat tire is a night and day difference to the better.

Just put some on my Z06 wheels. They are quiet, ride nice and handle really good. I like them much better than the standard runcraps.

Congratulations on the tire upgrade. Michelins PS2's are a great tire: Great handling, performance, and, are quieter than most o.e. tire applications. Enjoy

We sell and deal with all brands of tires. Despite Michelin being French, they are the best overall tire manufacturer, hands down! A little more expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case!(still cheaper than GY runcraps)

Mine has gone down .2 with 315s over stock. I know I can get a better launch with them though. I was getting 2.2ish and now I'm at 2.03 (A-4).

Now my driveway is 600 feet of recycled concrete so she's a little dusty but you get the idea..................and that last pic is of the pitting on the polished aluminum wheels.....................any ideas on how to fix that or is it time to think about some new ones????

Not only do they perform excellent, they look good too!! I can't wait to get my set!! Oh, so many mods, so little money.

As far as the pitting is concerned, my vette is about to hit 30k and the inner barrels look alot worse than that. There are wheel refinishing shops that can fix that. They'll polish and re-clearcoat the wheels and make them look like new. I live in NY and have heard there's a great place in Pennsylvania that can fix them for you and even get rid of curb rash. I think they are called Wheel collision center, I have their info bookmarked on my pc at work. I would suggest you wait a little while until it gets worse and then have the wheels refinished. That's what I'm gonna do eventually. If you need the info, pm me on monday.

Your right. They are the parent company. The G-Force KD's (not kdw,kdw2 or kdws) would be the closest match. But beware if you don't push your corvette a little (drive like a old lady) they might ware unevenly and get noisy. They have large tread blocks for grip, not comfort. They are a great tire too, I've used them before. They still arn't as good as ps2's though but they are around half the price.
