Time has come to buy new tires for my 04 vert with 32K miles on them. It seems that replacing the OEM run flats are quite expensive. Where is the best place to buy them? Or better yet, is there a better alternative to them? I want to retain the performance, but the life of the tire is most important as this is my daily driver, I dont need to be buying tires every 8K miles. Thanks!
There are certainly enough high priced exotic tire alternatives from Yokohama, Michelin to Pirelli, etc., to choose from for expensive hardcore performance tire applications. However, for a daily driver, you might just consider the Falken Tire line. The Falkens are a great low cost value for a daily driver that still offers quality and proper speed rating. And, the Falken tire line has been so for over twenty years.
Frankly, I have installed Falkens not only on my Corvettes, but, also on all my Trans Ams and Camaros. And, I have been very pleased with the wear, ride and handling characteristics of this particular tire. Do try contacting Discount Tire online, or, an America's Tire outlet near you for availability, pricing and servicing. Best wishes to you.
