Default Engine running rough

Well, I went out for a short drive this afternoon and it was relatively uneventful until I started on my way home. I pulled up to a red light and was sitting there and noticed that my car seemed to have what felt like a miss in it . I immediately started my way back towards the house.

As I was starting and stopping at various red lights I realized that it was very noticeable as soon as I applied the gas... I got to the highway that leaded to my house and pulled up only to about 50 and it seemed to smooth out once I got to speed, but as soon as put my foot back on the accelerator for the climb to 65 it started shuttering again . Feels like a really bad miss... Be the mechanical deficient person that I am, does anyone have any idea what this could be...

Thanks in advance...

Jason

p.s.

I had the tranny fluid changed about 150 to 200 miles ago, and an air compressor for the air conditioning put on, wondering if it could have anything to do with that...

Installers could have possibly bumped the air filter bridge and knocked the coupler loose?
