Modified DIC message?
Does anyone know if you can change the “Corvette…By Chevrolet” banner that is displayed at startup on the C5’s? I was recently in a C6 and noticed that it can be personalized to the with the drivers name and thought it was pretty cool.

This question has been addressed here before, and the result was that there is no way to reprogam/personalize a DIC on the C5. That being said, someone will figure out how to do it this time

You need to look for RPO code C6, it's a $46,000 option. 
all kidding aside, it's been asked several times over the years and as screw said It's been around for 9 years and no luck yet. I doubt you'll see it on the C5.

So far, no one has been able to change the C5 DIC message. Maybe someday.
