After years of wanting a Corvette, last night I bought one. It's a 2002 Vert, 6 speed, Z-51, Torch Red with Oak interior, 12,800 Miles, not a scratch.
Today I drove several hundred miles, and it rained. I must have looked like a possessed car owner cleaning it in the hotel parking lot, while it was still drizzling.
I've gained a great deal of knowledge on this forum, and have much more to learn. I'll have lot's of questions in the upcoming weeks.
My brother bought my Z-28 Convertible, and last night we took the two cars for a spirited drive. It was a blast, and I'm hooked on the Vet's feel. Why did I wait so long?

Congratulations on the new ride and welcome to the forum as an owner. You will find all you need to know here. Don't be afraid to ask questions, that's how we all learn. Of course you know we will need pictures. Here's to miles of smiles. Great color choice by the way.
Welcome to the forum, just stay clear of the MOD BUG! Say hello to my sister in Pompano, you can't miss her, she will be the one flying around in a new red rustang! I disowned her several years ago!
Yes, I think you got a real good one. And I agree, the color is perfect. You are indeed a luck driver as you started with one of the best Corvettes going. Many happy miles and smiles.

I got the exact car, except a 2000, Super low miles too, had to go to Ohio and, I too drove back to Jacksonville in the Rain. Torch & Oak with a 6-speed takes some doing to find, but a Great combination. See ya somewhere. Congradulations.
