C5 Battery Compartment Covers
Outside of the aftermarket battery covers, was there a panel made for the C5's that covered the entire battery compartment inside the compartment weatherstripping?
I saw a cover such as this on a C5 at a car show. It looked very inexpensive and had vent slots in it. I suppose you could even make one if you had a template.

It's any easy DIY project. I did mine in a spare afternoon. Take off the weatherstripping and press a piece of cardboard down on the ridge and fuse box cover. It will indent enough to make a pattern. Transfer that onto some plastic and you're done.

Mid America did not have red so i got mine from eckler's.But Mid America also carries one so it depends which company you want to go with........

Kewl is located in Seattle. The only covers that I have seen have been aftermarket ones.
