Who has bought the ultra high rise hood from JD Corvette? How is the fit.is it worth the 895 they are charging.Sure looks nice, but don't want to get one that is a poor fit.

don't know jd's,but aci's is an excellent fit, very little prep and might save you a buck or two without switching to geico! check my pictures over there<<< for the hood.

Yeah, I would like to see the 3.5" hood on a car. I also have thought about JD's hood as I like the more rise. Just would like to see it on a car and some comments about it.

Here's my ACI. You will never regret getting a high rise hood. C5's look naked without one.

Beautiful pics on this thread, guys. A high rise hood for the C5 is absolutely striking and just downright gorgeous. Just do yourself a favor and go for it.

Look at my Avatar that's a JD Corvette hood and it's the 3 1/2 hi raise hood. It's about two years old and have not had any problems. it fit the lines of the fenders good had to adjust front bumper a little but this is normal for a after market hood.

Default High Rise

Ok everyone. I told myself not to even look at any of this tonight. Attn: 'vettes4fun,' '00247' and 'roadrage1.' Please tell me where you got yours and how much money I have to hide this month.

Paint/install $400.00 another $100 underside smoothed (Highly Recommended)

roadrage1,How is the fit,in your picture it looks like the driver side headlight has more of a gap?I know it could just be the angle or the picture itself, your hood looks hot,but how is the fit????
