Default [TECH] Check Engine Light w/ Code [/HELP]

Rebuilt tranny from RPM Transmissions installed at AAMCO on 9/15-9/16. Pulled a check engine light on the way home and only the following code:

P0803 1-4 Upshift Solenoid Control Circuit (M/T)

I talked to Stangkiller just now while he was on his way to hit it and he thought it might be that the tranny was built without CAGS but was only making an educated guess. That's because he's educated and I'm an idiot.

Is that enough to crank up the Check Engine light or should I get down to another AAMCO location for a peek? The installer is over an hour from here and getting there isn't an option before.........>

I'm leaving Wednesday for a long road trip (over 2k miles ) and could use all the input I can find.

Thanx!

~Michael

hey man, i looked it up, i'm convinced either Rodney didn't install it or the plug wasn't conected...i can jack up the car and check to see if everything was pluged in. But maybe e-mail rodney first and ask if he even bothers installing them anymore.

Ya know? I might just start a "Yo Stangkiller" thread.

I'm going to do it the old fashioned way and 'call' Rodney to check. He's got a 'progressive' approach to this stuff, and since as a group the overwhelming majority votes "F teh CAGS", I'd guess he builds 'em that way.

Thanx again, Chris.

:btw: Did you h....

nevermind...
