What exactly is your question(s)?
Here's what I am running New Style BFG 315 18 on stock Z06 rims. They are great strip tires and ok street, but not to good for the wet. Nitto DR are better if street miles are your primary concern. Check out my times below for launch abilities on the BFG. After about 80/90 passes or so, last time out a 1.531. I think there is 1.4x under ideal conditions with newer tread. Nittos will not cut these times, most are in the 1.8x, with sometimes 1.7x. Here's a pic I love to show, Big Meat.
Hope this helped some?

I just bought a set of rear wagon wheels to use at the strip. When I went to order DRs at the local tire shop he had more questions then I could have ever thought to ask. Stuff about current tire spin, work done to me rear or clutch etc. He said he was trying to figure out what the best tire height was for my car in respect to my current performance. He either knew alot of didn't know much haha. Honestly he is a pretty knowledgeable guy and has been great to do business with in the past. He just didn't want to see me the wrong tires.
So my question is, what size DR are you all running with wagon wheels in 18 x 9 1/2 and what brand are they. Thanks again.
This was my post over in the TECH section. I'm just trying ot get the correct size tire. These are for the drag strip only so bad weather isn't a consideration...unless it rains on the way home ....
Rain was the reason I didn't get ET streets, cause in WA it does pour about anytime and the ET's are a big no, no in the rain. I ran the BFGs for about 80 passes on stock clutch and everything else, then sold it to a Camaro guy who has had it at drags since and still working fine.

well I can swap wheels at the track so I'm not too worried about the rain. I just want to get the right size for the rims I got. I'd hate to waste money and get tires that will rub.
I'm guessing on the stock wagon wheels I bought I shoudl be able to run a 275 35 18. I can only find DRs in 275 40 18 so far. Is this too tall of a tire to put on my 03 vette? She is stock height.
