Default Engine light on 04 z

installed vararam, engine light came on after couple hundred miles. I know by getting it tuned will fix the problem. My main concern is that when i went through the codes, other than the two common ones, other codes showed up. Is this normal? Or should no other codes show up?

My guess without codes, you probably have a leak on the intake install.

'04s are reported to be tuned a little leaner from the factory compared to earler years. This with the fact that a Vararam also leans, leads to codes on '04s more than previous years. Like you said a tune is in order, as Vararam gains are well worth the effort. Other codes, we need the numbers to say what/when/why.

Another option is a handheld programer like the Predator or the Vinci. I installed a Vararam on a '04 Z and got codes galore. Bought a Vinci and used their high performance tune. No codes in the six months since.

Same here, Just installed the vararam b2 and after about 20 miles or so, I got this code

P0430 TWC System Low Efficiency Bank 2

Would a tune get ride of this and also is this bad to drive on?
