I am interested in getting the white faced gauge overlays that turns color blue at night and also the aluminum bezels that go around the rings area of the dials...does anybody already have this combo or at least one of the two? Can you please tell me is it a hard set up to do taking off the dash board etc.? And when you apply the overlays to the dials, what do you do with each dials needle...do they just pop on and off ???
Thank you guys.
Hey, antvette, whom is Antonio has both those mods. If you scroll down to some posts from todat and look at post your car post your custom Vette pcs you can see his when you scroll down thru the pics, I'd email him.
Hmmm....good thing I clicked on this thread. Well, I do have both, but the needles do not come off. You just slide the white faces over and around the needles. Here are the pics of them installed.
All the blue lights are LEDs that were put in to replace the stock factory bulbs. Parts came out to like 30 bucks for the entire interior. The gauges in my A-Pillar are the Autometer C2 gauges and they grow that way when the lights come one. I had an adjuster switch installed to dim them cause they are BRIGHT!!!

Well I luv this car and those gauges came out awesome I was thinkin of doing mine in either the red or brushed aluminum.
Well honestly I didn't do it myself. However, I did make a few of the LED to have put in. They were 3mm Blue LEDs with 476ohm(I think) resistors soldered on there to take the voltage down to 3.3volts for the LED's. All and all took about 5 minutes per bulb and there are about 20 or so bulbs in the whole car not including the rear view mirror, glove box, under the dash and under the hood. I bought those LEDs and had no problem with those. If you do a search you will find write ups on how they are done. Thank you for the compliments.
