Need for speed
Hello All,
What can I do to increase the horsepower in my 99 coupe and still pass California emmissions inspection.

Install a Magnuson or Vortech supercharger. They both make great power and they both have CARB exemption. DONE.

Thank you for your value-added opinion, but I didn't see any price restrictions noted in the original request.

My '98 Vert is running a 382 forged stroker, 11.6:1 compression, Z06 heads, Comp 224/228 cam, TPIS longtubes, stock cats & H-pipe, and Corsa exhaust . . . About 420rwhp . . . And it passed California smog.

What kind of gas mileage do you get.
Yeah, a Supercharger is out of my price range right now.

I don't know about what's CA legal but that's a good question... I've heard SC's before and I really like the sound of heads and cams car more...
